Here is why this one earns its spot at a work party specifically. It is silly, but it is silly in a way that gives people permission rather than putting them on the spot. Nobody has to be funny. Nobody has to dance. You stand next to someone from a team you never talk to, you both watch yourselves lift off into a snowstorm on the monitor, and the reaction is honest, which is the whole shot. Booking a December Date

The honest advice: if your party is on one of the first two December weekends, move now. If your date is flexible, take a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday in early December. Weeknight parties book later, cost less across the board at most venues, and are easier to staff properly, which shows up in how the night actually runs.

Earlier than most people expect. The first two weekends of December are the most contested event dates of the year in the Bay Area, and in a normal year the good vendors and the good venues are largely committed by mid-October. Weeknight parties (Tuesday through Thursday in early December) stay open longer and are genuinely easier to staff well, so if your date is flexible, a Wednesday in the first week of December is the smart booking.

Can you set up in a restaurant or an office instead of a ballroom?

Yes, and a lot of Bay Area December parties are exactly that. Our setups run on standard 110v outlets and we bring our own hotspot, so a private dining room, a brewery, an office floor, or a lobby all work. How many guests can you move through in one night?

A flipbook studio produces up to 70 books per hour on a single cutting station and up to about 120 with a parallel station. Green screen video runs about a turn every 45 seconds because there is no printing step. A 360 booth seats up to four guests and cycles about every minute, so it clears well over a hundred guests an hour. How far in advance should we book a December party?

For custom holiday creative like a themed flipbook cover or a branded winter scene, four to eight weeks gives design and proofing room to breathe.
