Holiday Season 2026

Bay Area Holiday Party Entertainment That Beats Another Open Bar

Put your team on Santa's sleigh, in a snow globe, or inside whatever world your December party deserves. Produced across San Francisco, the Peninsula, the South Bay, and the East Bay, with no travel fees anywhere in the region.

The Bay Area December Problem

Everyone in this region throws their party in the same three weeks, in the same handful of rooms, and books them from the same short list of vendors. That is the whole problem in one sentence. By mid-October the first two December weekends are largely spoken for, and the teams that waited end up with a Monday, a room they did not want, and an entertainment plan that amounts to an open bar and a playlist.

The second problem is quieter and matters more. Bay Area company parties are full of people who work remotely, joined this year, or know eight people in a room of two hundred. Standing around with a drink is genuinely hard for a lot of them. The entertainment's real job is not decoration, it is giving those people something to do with their hands and a reason to talk to someone.

That is the bar we design for, and it is why the thing below works better than it has any right to.

Santa's Super Sleigh Ride

Your guests step in front of the camera and we drop them straight into Santa's sleigh, mid-flight, live. There is no sleigh in the room and nothing to climb into. Twenty seconds later they are watching themselves tear across a winter sky, and the clip is already on its way to their phone.

Here is why this one earns its spot at a work party specifically. It is silly, but it is silly in a way that gives people permission rather than putting them on the spot. Nobody has to be funny. Nobody has to dance. You stand next to someone from a team you never talk to, you both watch yourselves lift off into a snowstorm on the monitor, and the reaction is honest, which is the whole shot. Two colleagues who have exchanged nine words all year walk away with a video of themselves laughing.

And it travels. That clip is the one people send to their partner and their parents that night, which is not something you can say about a photo of the buffet. Every send carries your company's branding on it, if you want it to.

The Other Formats That Work in December

The sleigh is the showpiece, not the whole menu. What actually fits depends on your room and your headcount.

  • Action Flipbooks when you want something people keep. A 7-second scene becomes a printed, bound flipbook in their hands about 90 seconds later, with a cover designed for your party. These end up on desks in January, which no digital file ever does.
  • Green screen video when you want the share. The sleigh is one scene; a winter wonderland, a snow globe, a ski lodge, or a custom world built around your company's year all work the same way.
  • 360 video booths when the party is big and loud. Highest energy, fastest line, and the format that performs best on social. Up to four guests ride at once, which suits a party where people move in groups.
  • SpotMyPhotos roaming photography when you do not want a line at all. Photographers work the room and every guest automatically receives every photo of themselves. Good for seated dinners and award nights where pulling people to a corner does not fit the format.

Plenty of Bay Area parties run two of these at once. If you are still choosing a theme, our holiday party themes guide and corporate holiday party ideas cover that ground properly.

Bay Area December Rooms We Have Actually Worked

Not a list of venues we would like to work. These are rooms where we have produced a December party:

  • San Francisco: Harborview Restaurant & Bar on the Embarcadero, Che Fico, Laughing Monk Brewing, the Letterman Digital Arts Center in the Presidio, and a holiday cruise out of Pier 40.
  • South Bay: The GlassHouse in San Jose, the Signia by Hilton San Jose, and the San Jose Marriott.
  • East Bay: Chabot Space & Science Center in Oakland and Plank on the Oakland waterfront.

The useful part of that history is not the name-dropping, it is that we already know these rooms: where the dock is, which elevator matters, how much floor we actually get once the tables go in, and where the outlets are. For everything we run in this region year-round, see our Bay Area photo booth and San Jose pages.

What It Takes From Your Room

Most Bay Area December parties are not in ballrooms. They are in restaurants, breweries, museums, and offices, and the constraint is almost always floor space rather than power.

  • Flipbook studio: about 14x14 feet. 360 booth: about 14x14 with overhead clearance for the arm. Green screen photo: about 10x10.
  • Standard 110v outlets. We bring our own hotspot, so venue Wi-Fi is not a dependency.
  • No wall for a green screen? We can run the AI-driven setup that separates guests from whatever is behind them, with no physical screen in the room.
  • Full general liability insurance, with certificates issued straight to your venue.

Booking a December Date

The honest advice: if your party is on one of the first two December weekends, move now. If your date is flexible, take a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday in early December. Weeknight parties book later, cost less across the board at most venues, and are easier to staff properly, which shows up in how the night actually runs.

Tell us the date, the venue, and roughly how many people are coming, and we will come back with what fits the room, the throughput math for your headcount, and one all-in number with travel included. If we think your room will not work for something, we will say so.

Frequently Asked Questions

Earlier than most people expect. The first two weekends of December are the most contested event dates of the year in the Bay Area, and in a normal year the good vendors and the good venues are largely committed by mid-October. Weeknight parties (Tuesday through Thursday in early December) stay open longer and are genuinely easier to staff well, so if your date is flexible, a Wednesday in the first week of December is the smart booking.

It is a green screen video activation built for the holidays. There is no physical sleigh in the room: your guests step in front of our camera and we composite them into Santa's sleigh, mid-flight over a snowy landscape, live. The finished clip lands on their phone before they walk away. It works because it is silly in the right way, and because the result looks like a scene from a film rather than a photo of two people standing in a hotel ballroom.

No. San Francisco, the Peninsula, the South Bay, the East Bay, Marin, and the North Bay are all inside our standard service area, so travel is built into the quote with no separate line items. That includes downtown SF hotel ballrooms, Silicon Valley campuses, Oakland restaurants and museums, and wine country venues.

Yes, and a lot of Bay Area December parties are exactly that. Our setups run on standard 110v outlets and we bring our own hotspot, so a private dining room, a brewery, an office floor, or a lobby all work. A flipbook studio wants about 14x14 feet and a green screen photo setup about 10x10. For tight rooms we can run the AI-driven setup that needs no physical green screen at all.

A flipbook studio produces up to 70 books per hour on a single cutting station and up to about 120 with a parallel station. Green screen video runs about a turn every 45 seconds because there is no printing step. A 360 booth seats up to four guests and cycles about every minute, so it clears well over a hundred guests an hour. Tell us the headcount and the run time and we will tell you exactly how many stations it takes.

For custom holiday creative like a themed flipbook cover or a branded winter scene, four to eight weeks gives design and proofing room to breathe. For the first two December weekends, book by early October if you can. We do take shorter timelines when the calendar allows, so it is always worth asking rather than assuming the date is gone.
