For Brands and Agencies

A Brand Activation Company That Builds the Part Guests Actually Touch

We are the production company behind the photo and video activation: the green screen film, the flipbook studio, the 360 booth, the AI experience. Hired directly by brands and white-labeled behind agencies for 15+ years.

What a brand activation company does, and which part of it we do

Search for a brand activation company and you get two kinds of results: full-service experiential agencies that sell strategy, creative, and a big footprint, and directories ranking those agencies. Almost nobody explains that the activation the guest actually walks into is usually built by a different company than the one that pitched it. The agency owns the idea. Fabricators build the structure. A staffing agency supplies the brand ambassadors. And a production specialist builds and runs the technology and content capture, the part where a person steps in, does something, and leaves with content they post.

Action Flipbooks is that production company for photo and video. For over 15 years we have designed, built, staffed, and operated the green screen video activations, flipbook studios, 360 video booths, and AI photo experiences inside activations for Disney movie premieres, Google company events, Netflix wrap parties, Marvel fan experiences, Microsoft product launches, LinkedIn conferences, Adobe creative summits, and Sony PlayStation gaming events. Some of those we produced directly for the brand. Some we produced white-labeled behind the agency that won the account, and the guest never saw our name, which is how that arrangement should work.

We are not a full-service agency and we do not pretend to be one. We do not do campaign strategy, media, or large fabrication. What we do is make the piece guests touch reliable: custom branding on every surface, a crew that knows how to get people to perform, a digital delivery system that captures opted-in contacts, and a content library and share numbers you can put in a recap. Single-city launch or a 20-stop national tour, we handle it from creative through on-site production and post-event reporting.

Two ways we get hired

  • Directly by the brand: a marketing manager, an events team, or a founder with a date, a venue, and a goal. We scope the activation, build the creative around the brand guidelines, run it on site, and report back. No agency required in between. Most of our corporate and conference work arrives this way.
  • Behind an experiential agency: the agency owns the client and the big idea and needs a production partner who will make the photo and video component bulletproof inside their run-of-show. Fast quotes for RFPs, white-label delivery, and the same standard at every stop of a tour. How we work with agencies covers the details.

The specs, in one place

Everything a producer usually has to email and ask for. Copy it straight into a deck or a bid.

  • Throughput. One flipbook studio produces up to 70 books per hour, up to 120 with a parallel cutting station. The 360 booth seats up to four guests and cycles a new group about every minute, well over a hundred guests an hour. We scale with stations.
  • Footprint and power. Optimal is about 14x14 ft for a flipbook studio, about 10x10 ft for a green screen studio, and about 14x14 ft with overhead clearance for the 360 booth. Those are comfortable working sizes rather than hard minimums, and we make smaller rooms work regularly. Send the venue or a floor plan and we will confirm what fits. Standard 110v outlets.
  • Connectivity. Venue Wi-Fi is our first choice and usually the best option. We carry cellular hotspots as backup, and for venues where connectivity is a known problem we can arrange a dedicated data option. Tell us the venue and we will sort it out ahead of the event.
  • Insurance and compliance. Full general liability. Certificates of insurance issued directly to your venue, and we handle load-in windows, union protocols, and security requirements.
  • Crew. Trained W-2 staff, not gig workers, running each station and managing the line.
  • Lead time. Four to eight weeks is comfortable for design, proofs, and venue coordination. Q4 and the May to June school season fill first. Short timelines are worth asking about.
  • Travel. Included in the quote. No separate line items, in any market.
  • Reporting. Content created, delivery counts, share activity, opted-in contacts where capture is part of the program, plus the full branded content library.

Frequently Asked Questions

It depends which layer of the activation you are talking about, because a brand activation is usually built by several companies. An experiential agency handles strategy and creative. Fabricators build the footprint. Staffing agencies supply brand ambassadors. Production specialists build and run the technology and content capture. Action Flipbooks is that last layer for photo and video: we design, build, staff, and operate the green screen video, flipbook, 360, and AI experiences guests actually use, and we hand back the content, the opted-in contacts, and the numbers.

No, and we say so up front because it saves everyone time. We do not do campaign strategy, media, or large-scale fabrication. We are the production company for the photo and video activation itself. If you already have an agency, we slot in as their production partner. If you are a brand coming to us directly with a date, a venue, and a goal, we can scope and run the activation end to end without you needing an agency in between.

Both, and roughly in equal measure. Brands hire us directly for launches, conferences, premieres, and internal events. Experiential agencies hire us to produce the photo and video piece of a larger campaign, often white-labeled so the guest never sees our name. Either way the same crew, equipment, and process show up on event day.

Product launches, trade shows, experiential marketing tours, brand pop-ups, movie premieres, conference booth activations, in-store promotions, grand openings, and any event where you need to generate engagement, content, and social reach. If people are going to be there, we can create an interactive experience that gets them talking about your brand.

Yes. We regularly produce multi-city touring activations with consistent quality at every stop. We travel nationwide with our own crew and equipment, so you get the same experience whether it's stop one in San Francisco or stop fifteen in Miami.

Our digital delivery system captures email addresses and phone numbers as guests receive their content. We provide engagement metrics, share rates, and a complete content gallery after the event. Data can be exported for your CRM or marketing platform.

Every element is custom branded: flipbook covers, video overlays, green screen backgrounds, photo templates, digital delivery pages, landing pages, and on-site signage. We send proofs for approval before the event. We're experienced with brand guidelines and approval workflows for major companies.

We recommend 4 to 8 weeks for a fully custom branded activation. For events using our standard formats with simple branding, we can turn around in as little as 1 to 2 weeks. Contact us with your timeline and we'll let you know what's possible.
