A short page with a specific purpose
Most vendor websites list venues as decoration. This page is drawn from our booking records, and every venue below has at least one completed job behind it. Nothing aspirational, nothing we pitched and lost, nothing borrowed from a stock photo.
The reason to publish it is practical. If you are planning an event and the venue is already locked, the useful question is not whether a vendor is good in general. It is whether they have stood in your room before. That determines how setup goes: where the freight elevator is, how long the dock stays open, whether the ceiling clears a 360 booth arm, which outlets are live, and whether the venue wants a certificate of insurance a fortnight ahead. None of it appears in a proposal and all of it decides whether load-in is calm.
We are California-based and the Bay Area is our home market rather than a travel market, which is why the list is deepest here. Travel is included in every Bay Area quote with no separate line items.
San Francisco
- Moscone Center. Two activations, most recently a green screen video activation for Microsoft in November 2025, and before that a flipbook activation built around a vehicle for a national realtors conference. Moscone is a union house with strict load-in windows, and we work to them.
- San Francisco Design Center Galleria. Three events, including two proms and a wedding. The most recent, in April 2026, ran a flipbook studio with two cutting stations to clear the crowd inside the school's window.
- San Francisco City Hall. Two events: a high school prom under the rotunda, and a law firm spring gala. City Hall has its own rules about where equipment can sit and when it has to be gone.
- The Exploratorium. Two proms, in 2023 and 2025. Worth knowing that in our records the Exploratorium is a school-event venue rather than a corporate one, which is the kind of detail this page exists to be honest about.
- Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Three events across the galleries and forum building, including a gala where we ran the 360 video booth and two nonprofit fundraisers.
- Great American Music Hall. Two bar and bat mitzvah celebrations, one recent and one going back to 2017. A beautiful room and a genuinely tricky one for sightlines.
- W San Francisco. A dance company's downtown gala in March 2026, flipbooks.
- Four One Nine. A school event in April 2025, one of our larger single-night school setups in the city.
- The Metropolitan Club. A summer event run with a dual cutter and an additional crew member to keep pace with the room.
- Restaurants and private rooms. Company holiday parties and celebrations at Harborview, Che Fico, Foreign Cinema, and The Palace Theater. Private dining rooms are the format most people assume will not work, and they almost always do.
- Schools. Saint Vincent de Paul School, including their dinner dance, and Saint Cecilia School's mother and son dance in February 2026.
Oakland and the East Bay
- The Lake Chalet. Six events, more than any other single venue in our Bay Area records: five proms between 2019 and 2026, plus a tech company lunch event. If your school is looking at Lake Chalet, we have loaded into that room more times than anywhere else in the East Bay.
- Fox Theater, Oakland. A bat mitzvah celebration in October 2025.
- Chabot Space and Science Center. A company holiday party running green screen flipbooks with two cutting stations. Museums are excellent holiday party venues and difficult power situations; Chabot works well.
- Plank. Two corporate events for the same event production firm, which is usually the strongest signal a venue and a vendor work well together.
- Jack London Aquatic Center. A nonprofit's 99th anniversary celebration, flipbooks with a green screen photo add-on.
- Also worked: the Snow Building (school event), Lake Merritt and The Greenlining Institute (weddings), and 1717 Webster (private celebration).
Silicon Valley and the South Bay
- Adobe World Headquarters, San Jose. Three events, including a photo activation in November 2025 and a large corporate event in July 2025. This is the deepest venue relationship in our records.
- Adobe Founders Tower, San Jose. Two more, including Adobe For All in September 2025, which ran across San Jose and San Francisco.
Silicon Valley corporate work is mostly on campus rather than in ballrooms, which changes the job: badge access, a facilities contact rather than a venue coordinator, and an audience of engineers who will absolutely ask how the compositing works. Our Silicon Valley page and San Jose page cover that market directly.
Planning something like this? Send the date, the city, and roughly how many guests. We will come back with a configuration, the throughput math, and one all-in number with travel included. A real person answers, and there is no obligation.
How many stations your venue needs
The other question a booked venue raises immediately is capacity. Ceiling height and floor space cap how many stations fit, and headcount decides how many you need. Run your numbers:
How many stations does your event need?
The arithmetic every planner asks us on the phone. These are the real rates our equipment runs at, not marketing numbers.
At 70% participation that is about 175 guests to serve. One flipbook studio at up to 70 books per hour over 3 hours handles up to 210, so you have room to spare.
These are steady-flow ceilings. A real crowd arrives in waves, so treat the answer as the minimum that works and add a station if your guests all show up in the first hour. Roaming photography is the better answer when the math calls for more stations than your floor plan has room for. Tell us your numbers and we will size it with you.
The rest of the Bay Area
This page covers the venues we can document. The market pages go wider and cover the neighborhoods, event types, and logistics of each part of the region:
- San Francisco and the Bay Area, the main market page.
- Silicon Valley and San Jose for the South Bay corporate campuses.
- East Bay for Oakland, Berkeley, and the 680 corridor.
- Marin County, Napa Valley, and Sonoma for the North Bay and wine country.
- Monterey for conferences and coastal events south of the Bay.
- Sacramento, our second regional market, about ninety minutes from San Francisco.
Planning a December party at one of these rooms? The Bay Area holiday party page covers the date crunch, and holiday party entertainment covers what actually holds a room. Producing a brand activation rather than a party? See how we work as an activation production company.
The specs, in one place
Everything a producer usually has to email and ask for. Copy it straight into a deck or a bid.
- Throughput. One flipbook studio produces up to 70 books per hour, up to 120 with a parallel cutting station. The 360 booth seats up to four guests and cycles a new group about every minute, well over a hundred guests an hour. We scale with stations.
- Footprint and power. Optimal is about 14x14 ft for a flipbook studio, about 10x10 ft for a green screen studio, and about 14x14 ft with overhead clearance for the 360 booth. Those are comfortable working sizes rather than hard minimums, and we make smaller rooms work regularly. Send the venue or a floor plan and we will confirm what fits. Standard 110v outlets.
- Connectivity. Venue Wi-Fi is our first choice and usually the best option. We carry cellular hotspots as backup, and for venues where connectivity is a known problem we can arrange a dedicated data option. Tell us the venue and we will sort it out ahead of the event.
- Insurance and compliance. Full general liability. Certificates of insurance issued directly to your venue, and we handle load-in windows, union protocols, and security requirements.
- Crew. Trained W-2 staff, not gig workers, running each station and managing the line.
- Lead time. Four to eight weeks is comfortable for design, proofs, and venue coordination. Q4 and the May to June school season fill first. Short timelines are worth asking about.
- Travel. Included in the quote. No separate line items, in any market.
- Reporting. Content created, delivery counts, share activity, opted-in contacts where capture is part of the program, plus the full branded content library.
Frequently Asked Questions
Because most of what goes wrong at an event is logistics, not creative. A crew that has loaded into your venue before already knows where the freight elevator is, how long the dock is available, whether the ballroom has enough ceiling height for a 360 booth, which outlets are actually live, and whether the venue requires a certificate of insurance two weeks out. None of that shows up in a proposal, and all of it decides whether setup is quiet or frantic.
No. San Francisco, the Peninsula, the South Bay, the East Bay, Marin, and the North Bay are all inside our standard service area, so travel is built into the quote with no separate line items. We are California-based and the Bay Area is a short drive rather than a flight, which is why our pricing is straightforward here.
That is most venues, and it is not a problem. This page is only the rooms we can prove we have worked, and we produce at new Bay Area venues constantly. When a venue is new to us we call ahead, get the load-in rules and the floor plan, and confirm power and clearance before the event rather than discovering it on the day.
Optimal is about 14 by 14 feet for a flipbook studio, about 10 by 10 for a green screen photo setup, and about 14 by 14 with overhead clearance for a 360 video booth. Those are comfortable working sizes rather than hard minimums, and we make smaller rooms work regularly, so reach out with the specifics and we will tell you what fits. For genuinely tight rooms we can run an AI photo setup that needs no physical green screen at all. Everything runs on standard 110v outlets. For delivery we connect to venue Wi-Fi as our first choice, carry cellular hotspots as backup, and can arrange a dedicated data option where connectivity is a known problem.
Yes. We carry full general liability and issue certificates of insurance directly to the venue, naming them as required. We are used to venue paperwork deadlines, union protocols at the convention centers, and security requirements at corporate campuses.
